Hon. GbolahanYishawu is known as a man whose word is his bond. This is indicative by the drive and push with which he has facilitated the installation of transformers in his constituency, Eti-Osa 02, since coming into office in May 2013.

Not ungrateful for this development, some members of the communities where transformers have been installed have expressed appreciation for the quality of representation by Honourable Gbolahan Yishawu.

A prison official at the Ikoyi prison where one of the transformers is installed said “thank God for Hon. Yishawu. This is the first time that we are seeing a project that is not abandoned”. Another officer said “we have never seen a representation like this since 1999”. This is the first time that a politician keeps to his words. And for the first time in five days, we are having uninterrupted electricity supply. We will support him to higher office in the future. And come 2015, we will cast our votes for him again.
A woman at the Obalende police barracks where a transformer has also been installed said “since the installation of the new transformer, there has been immeasurable change in the power supply in the estate which has improved greatly”.

The good thing is that Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu is not resting on his oars. Rather, he is thinking every day of what more to do. Besides, he sends his personnel  out from time to time to see the state of projects being executed in his constituency to ensure they are working. This is besides his involvement with various community development  associations in the constituency which he supports financially and materially. His support  has also been extended to the vigilante groups.

Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu is truly living to his campaign promise of putting people first.  With his keen interest in people, there is no doubt that he would not do more for the constituency given a second opportunity in the next dispensation.
