Engr Gbolahan Yishawu, (Eti-Osa 2), has been re-elected into the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He defeated 8 other candidates at the House of Assembly election of March 18 to return to the House.
Dr Lawrence Olusola Ige, INEC’s Returning Officer for the election declared Yishawu as winner at the results collation centre in Lekki on Sunday.
Ige said Yishawu polled 10,936 votes to defeat the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) who polled 3,920 votes, while Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate polled 620 votes.
He said 17,154 voters were accredited at the March 18 exercise.
“The candidate of the APC is declared winner as the party polled the highest number of votes and returned elected,’’ Ige said.
